In a futuristic collection for the Manon Planche Autumn Winter 2019 collection, metallics combined with sheer layering, are presented in an atmosphere of neon backgrounds, live music and visual art, all contributing to the Manon Planche presentation at this season’s London Fashion Week.
Featured in the collection is a long two-tone evening dress, each color divided by a delicate ruffle separating the metallic blue fabric and purple, ruffled, falling, sky printed mesh, dividing the dress. Accentuating the garment, a transparent organza panel highlighted the futuristic aspect. Bringing an element of the past into the innovative design techniques is a 90’s style slip dress in an opulent printed silk, paired with a metallic bronze and pink puffer jacket, renovating the classic slip dress that was further emphasized through a luxury velvet lining and edgy silver rivets.
Moving away from the traditional design techniques, the Manon Planche collection introduces unique silhouettes, moving further than the contemporary design style. The collection draws the audience into a new future of fashion, with each garment showcasing an original approach to design. Defying set design methods, the collection demonstrates freedom of creativity, integrating padding, detachable sleeves, iridescent paneling and contrasting spirals around trouser designs. The line signifies imagination without boundaries, excelling the brand into a new era of fashion, with an unpredictable future of design.
